It turns out there could have been two outspoken Tiffanys on the early aughts VH1 reality series “Flavor of Love” if Tiffany Haddish had gotten a spot on the show.
The “Night School” star made the revelation during an interview with Wired with her co-star Kevin Hart. The chat saw the comedians answer the most-searched questions about themselves, including one that confused Haddish for “Flavor of Love” runner-up Tiffany “New York” Pollard.
“Is Tiffany Haddish New York?” one of the questions read.
“Hell nah, I ain’t New York,” Haddish said. “I got all my real titties and ass.”
“You know I auditioned for that show. … But when I found out it was Flavor Flav you had to be in the house with, I was like, ‘Oh, no thank you. I don’t want this job. No thank you,’” she added.
The reality series saw young women vie for the chance to become the Public Enemy star’s girlfriend after his relationship with actress Brigitte Nielsen dissolved following their reality show “Strange Love.”
Fans who learned about the revelation thought Haddish would have made a great addition to the show, which ran for three seasons from 2006 to 2008.
“😂😂😂 She would’ve been lit on the show.”
“That would’ve been hilarious. Tiff vs Tiff.”
“She’s a perfect fit tho. 😩”
“She would have been famous a lot sooner. Flav not her type huh but going on personality, he would’ve chosen her 😂”
“I think they wouldn’t have had that house lit.”
But others believed she dodged a bullet.
“😂😂😂😂💀 she did the right thing. Sometimes it’s best to say HELL NAW.”
“I mean she was hungry.. But not HUNGRY hungry.”
“Good for her🤣😂.”
“I’m sure she knew she would have been good too but she knew her worth and chose to be patient. 🙌🏽💪🏽👌🏾”
“No Shade but do you BLAME her blame her…🙄”
