Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union posted a gorgeous photo that sent the internet into a frenzy. The photo featured Union hugged up with long-time friends Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long.
Union attended a special screening on Thursday for Lathan’s new Netflix film “Nappily Ever After” in Los Angeles, California. The romantic comedy, based on a novel by Trisha Thomas, stars Lanthan who plays Violet, a woman who seemingly has it all together until life happens. Black Hollywood actors and actresses such as Robinne Lee, Antoinette Robinson, Lynn Whitfield, Larry English, Nicole Williams and more showed up to offer their support.
Union gave fansall sorts of 2007 Essence Cover vibes when she posted the group photo with the caption:
“What happens when we hold each other down… WE LIFT EACH OTHER UP! Everyday we take a breath should be motivation enough to be our best selves and live our best lives and make sure that there’s a space and a place for us all to win. Union, Lathan and Long were all featured on the cover of Essence‘s December issue in 2007. All three ladies gave details on dating and fighting for acting roles.
The “Breaking In” actress recently signed on as a producer for Broadway show “American Son” according to Hollywood Reporter.
