The ex-boyfriend of “Basketball Wives” star Jennifer Williams has been arrested on charges stemming from abuse allegations from a former worker at Sweetie Pie’s restaurant worker and it just may help Williams’ case against him.
The Blast reported Monday, Aug. 27 that Tim Norman was booked into a Harris County, Texas jail last week Thursday before posting $500 bail.
Earlier this year, it was reported he had a district attorney slapped a misdemeanor assault charge against Norman for allegedly punching former chef Horace Hodges. The assault took place after Hodges spoke to Norman about the paychecks for other employees. It apparently escalated to the point where a punch was thrown resulting in damage to Hodge’s left eye.
Authorities had questioned Williams about the incident as she was there when it occurred but did not see it happen. However, she said Norman told her he punched the chef moments after Hodges left the building.
While Norman awaits an arraignment later this month, the incident could give Williams the fuel she needs to continue to fight for her safety from her ex-boyfriend. In June, a judge denied Willaims’ and Norman’s request to get a permanent restraining order on each other.
The ruling left Williams concerned.
“I’m a single woman, I live alone,” she said in a confessional on BBW. “I’m absolutely still afraid. And it’s really awful that I can’t live my normal life.”
