Lil Kim may have thrown a little shade at Nicki Minaj under a fan’s comment on Instagram.
The ‘Queen Bee’ shared a video of herself jamming to the summer single “Magic In the Hamptons” by Social House. She seemed to be feeling herself while rocking a SnapChat filter.

However, Instagram users flooded her social media feed with “loving” comments and one fan threw a little shade at Minaj. The person wrote, “Alexa play Dreams by the real Queen!” Lil Kim responded back, “😩.”
Social media elites took the ‘Queen Bee’s emoji response as a dig towards Minaj. The “Barbz” began attacking the “Not Tonight” rapper.
“Kim, sweetie please don’t make us drag you.. not sure if you’ve noticed but we have so much time to do so. How bout you worry about your failing career, your foreclosed home and your child’s future. Don’t do it. All your music you’ve released since Nicki’s been out has not once touched BB.. don’t play yourself.”
Another Minaj fan added, “Another bitter veteran in Nicki’s shadows. Alexa play ‘Romans Revenge.'”
However, Lil Kim’s fans quickly jumped to her defense and shut down naysayers.
“She’s the real queen @lilkimthequeenbee these female rappers can’t compare,” an Instagram user said.
“It’s better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation” love you lil Kim,” another person commented.
One die hard Lil Kim fan wrote, “You go hard before anyone else did!! Came back for you one of the hardest songs of all time!”
The “Lighters Up” artist recently addressed the old beef between she and Minaj in an interview. She told Power 106, “God bless her, I wish her the best. … She did what she did, until she’s ready, hopefully, God puts it on her mind to do the right thing because she knows what she did. Once that happens, hopefully, everyone will stop asking me.”
