Cynthia Bailey Claps Back at Haters for Criticizing Her Newfound Love, Boyfriend Lends Support

Reality TV star Cynthia Bailey took to Instagram this week to clap back at critics who’ve had not-so-nice things to say about her relationship with new beau Mike Hill.

In a cryptic, yet inspirational post, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star and former model brushed off the naysayers.

“Continue to walk toward your purpose,” Bailey captioned the photo, followed by hashtags #blessed, #focused and #nottodaysatan.

Fans applauded Bailey for speaking out, with many patting her on the back for not letting the haters come between she and Hill’s newfound love.

“Amen Cynthia … thank you for confirmation!” one woman wrote. “Love and admire you beautiful Black Queen.”

” … No clap back needed you busy with no time for strangers,” another fan chimed in. “When your man stands up for you, can’t nothing get at you!”

The inspirational post even garnered a response from Hill himself, who had no problem coming to his woman’s defense. Hill, a sportscaster for Fox Sports 1, and Bailey started dating earlier this year after the two were introduced via comedian Steve Harvey‘s talk show. In July, Bailey teased that she was “in love” with a new man but remained tight-lipped about who he was.

“No one can ever steal your joy unless you allow them to!! People will talk. Let them!” Hill wrote in a lengthy response to his girlfriend’s post. “When people are happy, they don’t have time to try to bring misery your way. We’re happy baby and we’re not allowing anyone or anything to take that away!!”

“As long as you know and God knows what we have, that’s all that matters,” he continued. “So there won’t be any clapping back at ignorant people looking for attention or time because negativity doesn’t deserve it. There are more important things to do. We’ll just keep living our best lives … We’re #CHillin. We’re in God’s hands. #NowWhatElseIsGoingOn.

“Love you babe,” Bailey responded, followed by a heart emoji.

Their romantic exchange set fans’ hearts aflutter.

“A man after my own heart,” one person wrote. “Happy for you guys….continue to treat your queen like a queen 🙏🙏”

“You got yourself a good one @cynthiabailey10 — not saying this just because he’s my cousin, but he’s a good man,” wrote another. “I think @itsmikehill has found him a good one also. I’m just loving y’all loving each other.”
