“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams says her boyfriend held nothing back regarding his feelings for her when they met several months ago.
While discussing Ariana Grande’s swift engagement to comedian Pete Davidson, who told the singer on the day they met that he’d marry her tomorrow, one of Williams’ “Dish Nation” co-hosts balked. But the RHOA star said the “Saturday Night Live” cast member was “my kind of man.”
“Ain’t nothing wrong with that, that man knew what he wanted … I won’t marry him literally tomorrow,” Williams says of the instant push for marriage. “But my boyfriend told me he loved me on the first day that we, like, met. And he meant it.”
“If I was lookin’ at you I would tell you I love you too,” Marcille replied comically.
Meanwhile, fans of the entertainment news show chimed in to give their thoughts on quick admissions of love.
“Hubby said the same thing. Been married for 9 yrs❤️.”
“Lust at first sight, but not love.”
“I agree with Eva 100% I would too F—–‘ Rite.”
It seems Dennis McKinley may not be too far off from what Davidson did, however. Before Williams went public with her boo and officially confirmed who he was, the duo was caught by TMZ photographers walking out of Leon Diamond jewelry store in New York City.
When Williams was asked about why the couple was in the store, she brushed off chatter about possibly looking at engagement rings by saying, “We were just looking at everything.”
Still, the Atlanta-based serial entrepreneur indicated he would want to make things official with his girlfriend with a trip down the aisle.
He wrote on Instagram back in June, “He who finds one of these, finds a good thing!”
It was McKinley’s spin on the Bible verse Proverbs 18:22 which says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing.”
