Porsha Williams Holds Her Man Down and He Acknowledges Her Sweetly

Porsha Williams seems to be loving being a girlfriend to her main squeeze Dennis McKinley. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star on Monday, Aug. 13 posted a memo about being the person her man needs her to be.

“She is water powerful enough to drown you, soft enough to cleanse you, deep enough to save you,” the post read.

“Everything you need🤡🌊,” Williams added in the caption.

While her wave emoji was obviously relevant, one curious fan wanted to know the significance about the clown one.

“😂 why the clown face tho @porsha4real?” @tiptip_00 asked.

“@tiptip_00 cuz [I]m] also crazy,😝” Williams said.

But perhaps what was most telling is that McKinley backed up his girl’s post, co-signing it sweetly with a heart emoji and a clown face.

“@workwincelebrate🤡❤️.”

Williams nodded to the comment by simply dropping a splashing water emoji.

“@workwincelebrate 💦”

Other commenters remarked on Williams’ zodiac sign. Since her birthday is on June 22, that makes her a cancer, which is a water sign.

“Water signs 🙌🏼.”

“Water Signs 😪👌🏾👌🏾

“Get u a water sign….we the best 💪🏽😎✊🏽.”

Astro Style.com describes such sign holders as “intuitive, emotional and ultra-sensitive” who can be “as mysterious as the ocean itself.”

“These signs often have intense dreams and borderline-psychic intuition,” the website claims. “Security is important to them — after all, water needs a container, or it dries up and disappears.”

Williams has been more public than ever with her serial entrepreneur businessman beau as of late. After keeping his face hidden away on social media for months, Williams finally showed his face during his birthday celebrations in July.

“🎉Screaming Happy Birthday to my love #DM❤ Let’s make it last foreverrrr.🎼 ,” she said in part on Instagram at the time.

It was a marked change considering she had previously cropped his head in a photo and removed a video showing his tattoo from her IG page.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
