An Instagram post from Malaysia Pargo has fans stopping in their tracks to comment. The “Basketball Wives” star on July 28 debuted an ashy blonde, shorter, slightly curly hairdo that had fans comparing her to the late movie star Marylin Monroe.
“Glam Goddess in Blonde…. DM @thevirginhairfantasy,” Pargo captioned the photo of her posting playfully. The wig, a 14-inch bob, is actually one of Pargo’s own from The Virgin Hair Fantasy, which is made to look natural by blending dark blonde shadow roots with a mix of ash and silver blonde. It retails for $850.00.
Many fans were digging the look created by an Atlanta wigmaker who declares her units as the “most natural looking wigs.”

“Every season, Malaysia is always talking about someone else’s style and how they can’t wear their wigs. I don’t think Malaysia realize she dresses tacky and always have on a prostituting wig.”

Pargo is no stranger to switching things up with her hair. She’s sported just about every kind of wig imaginable — from a natural black bob to booty-grazing straight blue tresses.
“I’m definitely a hair connoisseur,” Pargo told Rolling Out in 2014 of what she looks for when shopping for hair extensions. “What I look for is hair that’s not processed. If there’s a process to it, the hair’s not gonna shine the way you want it to and it’s not gonna straighten the way you want it to. Some processed hair may work, but for the most part, extra virgin hair lasts longer.”
As for the kinds of extensions she likes to create her signature look, at the time it involved creating a dark, sleek ‘do.
“Right now I have Indian hair in and it’s super silky, black and straight down the middle [part]. It’s 24 inch Black Label hair from Glam Luxe. It’s really nice and easy to straighten, so you can look cute and go.”
