Model and Actress Melyssa Ford released a video to her fans thanking everyone for their support after being hospitalized for injuries suffered in a near-fatal car accident.
The model informed her fans in the video that she was so grateful for the encouragement. While wearing a head bandage laying in a bed, Ford said, “I just want to say thank you to everyone for your prayers, love and support. I’ve been overwhelmed and humbled by it.” She also speaks about recovering from her accident, “I’m home and trying to recover, Im still in a lot of pain and my body is slowly heeling.”
Her close friend and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Claudia Jordan launched a GoFundMe to help pay for her medical expenses. Ford said in the video “To everyone that participated in the GoFundMe my friend set up, I can’t express my gratitude enough.”
Fans showed the model more support.

Over a month ago, Ford was driving on a California highway when she was cut-off by an 18-wheeler tractor trailer causing her SUV to flip three times landing upside down. She fractured her skull, received a concussion and bleeding on the brain.
