“Love and Hip Hop” star Erica Mena tried to drag Draya Michele online and failed miserably after fans pulled up old tweets of the two.
Michele is starring in a new movie with BET that she personally produced. The model took to Twitter on Wednesday and posted a small clip of her new film “We Belong Together” which is set to premiere on Saturday evening.
The Internet had mixed feelings about Michele’s upcoming movie, including Mena.
The “LHHATL” star threw a jab at the actress and wrote, “Let’s get this right! @BET I’m ready when you are. Let’s get a GOOD actress in y’all movies.”
The former “Basketball Wives of L.A” actress was clearly unbothered by Mena’s tweet and simply responded back, “I’m never blowing out the next women’s candle to make my flame shine brighter.”
Just as fans thought the social media beef was over between the women, Mena threw another jab at Michele in her Instagram Live video and said, “I don’t know Draya, ok? I know of her. I don’t know her. So I wouldn’t know what she’s doing. I wouldn’t care. I wouldn’t even have any ammunition to talk about something I just don’t care about.”
Fans pulled up old photos of the two stars hanging out together and blasted Mena for being a “whole hater”.
“Don’t hate ERICA go brunch with CiCi an #LevelUp 🤦🏾♀️,” one person wrote.
“Erica is such a hater…would she like it if someone were doing the same to her as she is to Draya? NO! So what the hell,” another said.
“Hummm [Draya Michele] is out here winning lol while this chick is clearly on drugs lol,” another added.
Social media users reposted old photos of the two former friends. Bossip reported in 2012 that Michele and Mena used to date in the past and the “LHHATL” star was heartbroken after Michele broke up with her. The source told Bossip the ladies ended their relationship on bad terms and it got pretty ugly.
