Porsha Williams Posts Message About Brown-Nosing That Had a Former RHOA Producer Weighing In

Porsha Williams’ cryptic Instagram post could give some insight into the casting changes that have reportedly occurred ahead of the 11th season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

“If you gotta kiss butt, manipulate, lie or throw people under the bus to get it……it probably ain’t for you,” Williams’ July 23 post said.

“Pretty much!” the RHOA star co-signed the message.

The post didn’t include any hashtags or other wording to indicate what she’s referring to, but it’s possible Williams could be talking about the drama surrounding casting for the Bravo reality series.

Even former RHOA producer Arthur D. Alston III, who worked on season 10, chimed in. He indicated that there was a lack of appreciation on the series and had to fight hard for cast members who were afraid to do so over money.

“That’s why I’m not around that anymore. I choose people [sic] morals and principles over production. However, you learn that people don’t appreciate you for it and some don’t value themselves as much [as] you value them and you fought hard for people who wouldn’t even fight for themselves because of a dollar amount. It’s many lessons learned when you pay close attention to details in people.”

Rumors have swirled for months that Kenya Moore and Shereé Whitfield are no longer part of the cast, with producers offering each of the ladies a “friend of the show” role. Moore has slammed rumors she’s been fired and refused to take any role aside from a full-time housewife.

“You will see my raw truth… the good the bad and the ugly one way or another ☺,” Moore said on Instgram in June. “Fact# I am good effing TV! ❤. Fact# I will be a HW or nothing at all. 😘 .”

Whitfield on Monday finally confirmed she didn’t take the lesser part on the show for similar reasons.

“I’m worth more than a friend,” she said after noting she “declined” the offer and wasn’t fired.

Earlier this summer, it was reported that Moore and Whitfield’s spots could be taken over by Eva Marcille and longtime friend of the show Marlo Hampton.
