Drake may be flying high with his new “Scorpion” LP since it’s breaking all kinds of records, but that doesn’t mean people have stopped talking about “The Story of Adidon,” Pusha T‘s diss song.
Pusha released the track in late late May, and in it he revealed the Drake has a son named Adonis with soft porn actress Sophie Brussaux.
But two years before that information was revealed, another woman named Layla Lace accused Drake of fathering her child, which his team quickly denied.
“So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone,” wrote Lace last year. “One lesson I have learned out of this whole situation is to never be so naive when a guy disrespects you.”
Then DJ Spade, one of Drake’s affiliates, posted a supposed screenshot of a conversation he had with Lace that showed she lied about being pregnant. After that, the story died down, but since Pusha T exposed Drake in “The Story of Adidon” Lace has resurfaced — at least according to a report.
“I’ve been trying to contact you for the last two years concerning our child and you’ve done nothing,” it was reported she wrote. “I wanted to have Bar Mitzvahs with you and Jerusè and still, you never arise to the occasion … He asks about you a lot and where did you go. It gets hard having to explain to him that ‘Daddy is trying to make ends meet.’”
Lace also brought up Pusha T’s diss song and Drake’s son with Brussaux.
“You need to come see your son,” she wrote. “Instead of making diss tracks you need to be a father. Do you really think this is going to help Adonis and not only him, but my baby too that you helped bring into this world two years ago? It took rap to expose you to fatherhood. What kind of man is that? I don’t know but you will help raise this one.”
At this point, none of Lace’s claims have been confirmed, and it’s unclear if she even wrote those recently posted messages. But if you recall, on Pusha’s “The Story of Adidon,” he suggested there were more secrets about Drake that he was going to reveal.
“Surgical Summer. Volume one,” said Push on the song. “We gon’ take this slow. We just going to peel it back layer by layer.”
