The award-winning actress revealed that she played a lot of sports as a child and is big on health and fitness. She told “Women’s Health Magazine” her workout routine is vigorous and she focuses on lower body training. “You’re training your body to work together as a unit. Every session, however, includes glutes work. It’s the biggest muscle in the body and key for posture and balance.”
Gurira is a huge advocate for women empowerment. She stated, “The struggles of women and girls is something that I’m very passionate about. I have to do what I can in the world. We all have to do what we can.”
Reebok plans on releasing limited edition t-shirts that feature inspirational messages from each women’s ambassador starring in their campaign. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to a list of women organizations.
