Cynthia Bailey, model and star of the reality show “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” said there’s a new man in her life and she’s extremely happy.
The model said she may be ready to get serious again since her divorce from long-time friend and ex-husband 51-year-old Peter Thomas. She told People Magazine during the Essence Festival on Sunday, “I definitely want to date exclusively now — just one guy… I’ve recently met someone who I really like. I am looking forward to seeing where things go.”
Thomas and Bailey were officially divorced in 2017 and she introduced the “RHOA” crew to her new beau at the time being Will Jones. However, the relationship didn’t quite last and the new couple called it quits a few months down the line. The mother of one said the experience made her more opened to the idea of marriage after her semi-nasty split from Thomas.
“When I first got divorced I was pretty closed,” Bailey says. “The door was closed to marriage, and the door has opened itself back up. I’m not kicking it open but it ain’t closed,” Bailey said.
Although her relationship with Jones didn’t work out, Bailey still thinks “he’s an amazing guy” and has “a lot of respect for him and wish him nothing but the best.”
