“Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star Tommie Lee has endured a very emotional journey throughout season 7 on the reality show. Nevertheless, the aspiring rapper brought her friends together to issue an apology of sorts and provide insight into her struggles.
During the season finale on Monday night, Tommie got emotional while sharing with the cast her battles with excessive drinking. She made amends with everyone she’s had a confrontation with.
“My life is a lot different from all of you guys,” the reality star said. “People think I’m just some big crazed alcoholic … I drink [but] I’m dealing with stuff… I’m just trying to right my wrongs and it’s probably going to take some time.”
Tommie said she’s been working on growing and prospering into a better and more mature person despite her past unruly behavior.
The star also explained how important pursuing her music career is and apologized to Jamaican Dancehall artist Spice. The pair got into a verbal altercation earlier during the season when Tommie showed up three hours later on the video set with a cup of alcohol in her hand. Spice slammed the aspiring rapper for her tardiness and said her love for alcohol was affecting her music career.
“I know it’s been a long road for us,” Tommie expressed to Spice. “You feel like I don’t really care, but this is my baby, this is my heart, and this is my passion right here…”
The two women cried, hugged it out and debuted their new music video and song “I’ma Get It.” Other cast members got emotional too after the heartfelt apology and embrace

Tommie has dealt with excessive drinking on LHHATL and recently found out that her mother is dealing with health issues due to prior alcohol issues. The reality star said she’s trying to work on bettering herself.
