Rapper French Montana required pay rap manager Debra Antney millions.
Antney, the mother of “Hard In Da Paint” artist Waka Flaka Flame, has managed some of hip hop’s most prominent figures such as Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Nicki Minaj and French Montana. However, she sued Montana in 2013 for conducting business with other industry leaders without informing her- at the time she was his manager.
Georgia courts ordered the “Welcome to the Party” musician to pay $2 million. However, the rap manager filed new documents in order to receive payment, the Blast reported.
The rap manager’s music company “Mizay Entertainment” filed a sister state judgment to collect her earnings in California. She was awarded a settlement of $1,864,012.50 by Georgia courts last year plus another $135,140.91 for interest. The total summed up to $2 million after the final judgment in January 2018.
The newly filed court documents seemingly show Montana never responded to Antney’s lawsuit.
