‘I’m Off the Plantation, Bro!’ Stanford U Student Gets Fired Up About ‘White Liberals In Blackface’

The face of American politics is slowly changing as more and more young Black Americans shed their liberal, Democratic ideals in favor of conservatism. Popular Black conservatives, including Turning Point USA firebrand Candace Owens, have pitched a new message to the Black community, promising freedom and opportunity that liberals could never.

That message appears to be catching on.

On Wednesday, Owens tweeted an “inspiring” moment from her recent visit to Stanford University in which a Black student approached the mic and disavowed his old “leftist” ideals.

“The world is changing before our eyes,” she tweeted. “Tonight at Stanford, a Black student stepped to the mic. He said he used to support Black Lives Matter until he researched their lies. He shouted to a packed room ‘BUT NOW I’M FREE.’ ”

“The Black revolution is unfolding and it’s beautiful,” Owens added.

The student, identified as “Epi,” spoke before a crowd of his classmates and Owens on Wednesday and slammed the Black social justice group, claiming it was funded by white liberal investor George Soros. He proceeded to suggest BLM doesn’t care about the Black straight male or Black families because it also advocates for white feminists and the LGBTQ community.

“They don’t want me to have power!” he shouted, drawing raucous applause from the crowd. “They (BLM) put white liberal ideas, LGBT, women, non-binary, white feminism and all that Hillary Clinton stuff, and they put it in blackface.”

“White liberals don’t really care about me, bro!” he continued. “I’m off the plantation. I’m empowered, bro.”
