Black Girl Magic was in full effect at Morgan State University as several students helped a high schooler get beautified for prom after a last-minute roadblock. A high schooler, identified as Sheeba in the video, drove an hour away for a makeup appointment only to find it was canceled. A college student saw the disappointed teen and offered to help.
The college student and several of her friends turned their dorm room into a salon. They slayed Sheeba’s hair and make-up just in time for the prom.
The video entitled “Operation-help-a-sister-slay” went viral on social media. The original snap chat video had the caption, “God is working. This girl was on her way to prom but her MUA & hairstylist did her dirty. She stumbled upon us & now we getting her right!!”
The Morgan State girls took action quickly. “We started playing music, we trying to make her comfortable because we in a dorm room.” After the students finished up, they said a prayer and sent Sheeba off on her magical evening.
