After video surfaced of Fabolous confronting girlfriend Emily B and her father, the internet has erupted in a debate over which member of the longtime couple is in the wrong, with many slamming Fab for appearing to abuse Emily for years.
On Tuesday, April 3, the rapper’s brother, Paul Cain, took to Instagram to call out the detractors.
“You wasn’t there so you should really fall back,” Cain says. “You don’t know anything. The bloggers don’t know anything. They wasn’t there neither. Y’all reading some s— off the internet and really arguing over some s— like you know somethin’. You wasn’t there. Mind ya f—ing business.”
Fab himself has kept quiet on the matter until his apparent response posted on Snapchat Tuesday.
“Sometimes it is best to just be quiet and let God show people,” he wrote.
The rapper avoided addressing his legal woes directly, which includes two different third-degree charges: aggravated assault and making terroristic threats, Bossip reported. He could face three to five years in a state prison and just the aggravated assault charge could lead to a $15,000 fine.
Fab’s charges stem from a March incident where the rapper reportedly punched Emily B several times, which caused her to lose her two front teeth. He also told his girlfriend, her father and her brother that he had a bullet for them.
