On Saturday (March 31), just hours after a video surfaced of Fabolous lunging at the mother of his children Emily B and threatening her father, he appeared at Lil’ Kim’s show at New York’s Terminal 5 and received support from the crowd.
In a clip, you can see the Brooklyn rapper be cheered by the audience as he seemingly addressed the much talked about incident. “I thank God tonight for ya’ll,” he said from the stage. “I had to be here tonight … Thank you for the love and support.”
Fabolous was arrested for aggravated assault and making terroristic threats after he and Emily got into an argument. The 40-year-old was also accused of striking her seven times and knocking out her two front teeth.
Besides what he said on stage, Fabolous hasn’t addressed the incident publicly, but he did send a cryptic message a few days ago, shortly after the allegations surfaced.
“You strongest enemy’s the one who knows your weak spot,” he wrote next to a photo of himself.
Meanwhile, people continue to express their opinions on Fab’s social media pages and some have said they’re no longer fans, while others have defended him.
“Used to be the biggest Fab fan,” one person wrote.
“More than half of y’all support Chris Brown, so please stop bashing Fab,” wrote another.
