Roseanne Barr Shuts Down Wendy Williams By Taking Jab at Husband Troubles

Gearing up for the 10th season of her rebooted “Roseanne” sitcom, Roseanne Barr appeared on “The Wendy Williams Show” Wednesday, March 28 and in true Williams fashion, the tea was spilled. However, Barr wasn’t quite in the mood to talk about her ex-husband and delivered a shady blow to the talk show host.

Williams explains at the 3:51 mark that Barr’s former spouse, actor Tom Arnold, wrote a review of the comedian’s Tuesday night reboot in The Hollywood Reporter. After making a quip about getting accused sexual assaulter Harvey Weinstein to review actress Rose McGowen’s new show, Barr said she didn’t read Arnold’s review.

Williams assured her Arnold, who executive produced the original incarnation of the ABC sitcom about a working-class family, didn’t have anything negative to say about it. Then, things got shady.

“I don’t like talking about husbands, right, Wendy?” Barr says to jeers from the audience.

“I don’t mind talking about husbands,” Williams responds. “He’s fabulous.”

Williams’ husband, Kevin Hunter, was linked to mistress and accused of having a double life, according to a fall 2017 report from The Daily Mail.

On air, Barr and Williams had a chuckle and Barr gave a shady smirk before Williams moved on to quote Arnold’s review.

“Roseanne has done everything from pulling my hair transplants immediately after surgery to saying I had a three-inch penis on SNL,” he wrote. “So I figure if I can give the show another shot, maybe other people could too,”

“Well, at least he told the truth for once about something,” Barr quips.

“The three-inch penis?” Williams responds as the two laugh.

Meanwhile, Twitter users have been unleashing over the exchange.
