People were rooting for Shereé Whitfield after she called it quits with her alleged physically abusive ex-husband Bob Whitfield, but didn’t expect her to move on to a prison bae. Tyrone Gilliam’s appeal for early release was quickly shot down by court officials.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed on Sunday night’s episode to the circle of ladies, that her incarcerated prince charming would possibly be released from prison later on this year, but Whitfield’s hopes were crushed to learn otherwise.

“I don’t know the realistic release date for Tyrone, but it better be this year. I’m talking about very soon,” Whitfield conveyed in her confessional on RHOA.

The 51-year-old alleged scam artist was sentenced in 2013 to 120 months on security and wired fraud charges according to Radar Online. Gilliams claimed in the documents that he was not the chief of the $5 million plot to steal from investors and that the government “improperly withheld” evidence.

He requested that he’d be released on bail “during the pendency of federal habeas corpus proceedings.” However, Judge Deborah A. Batts denied his recent appeal in a New York court March 20. Batts said he offered no new substantiating evidence. His release date is now Nov. 14, 2022.

Whitfield’s old friend, but new rival NeNe Leakes took to Instagram with the petty caption, “Hey girlllll…when the lies just keep coming & coming & coming🤸🏾‍♂️🤸🏾‍♂️”

Kim Zolciak Biermann came to her friend’s defense and tweeted Leakes back, “I pray to god I’m not that miserable and bored at 50.”
