Lisa Bonet, one of the stars on the 1980s sitcom “The Cosby Show” has come forward to voice her opinion on the rape and sexual assault allegations against her TV dad.
And unlike Keshia Knight-Pulliam, it seems this Cosby kid doesn’t back the comedian.
The actress said Cosby’s accusations hasn’t tainted her memories of growing up on the hit sitcom but rather, things are “exactly as I remember it.”
“There was no knowledge on my part about his specific actions, but… There was just energy,” she said in a March PorterEdit cover story. “And that type of sinister, shadow energy cannot be concealed.”
Asked if she sensed any darkness surrounding 80-year-old Cosby, who famously did not want Bonet to pose topless for Interview magazine or have a naked sex scene in the film “Angel Heart,” the 50-year-old is unwavering.
“Always,” she said. “And if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago. That’s my nature. The truth will set you free.”
Cosby, who faces accusations of drugging and molesting former Temple University worker Andrea Constand, will face a retrial in the case in April.
“I don’t need to say,’I told you so,’ I just leave all that to karma and justice and what will be,” said Bonet.
