Actor Jamie Foxx went viral in February when he got up and left an ESPN interview after a reporter asked him about his Valentine’s Day plans with Katie Holmes. The reason why he did this? Well, Foxx and Holmes have never confirmed or publicly addressed their relationship because of a special agreement.

“Katie and Jamie have an agreement that they’ll never talk about their relationship or each other in the press,” a Holmes source told UsWeekly of why Foxx ditched the sitdown during NBA All-Star Weekend. They also noted Holmes “appreciated” how the “Robin Hood” actor responded.

“She felt he was respecting their agreement,” the source said.

And while Foxx was able to trot away to the free throw line when questioned his rumored girlfriend of four years, he couldn’t do the same when a paparazzo asked about her on Saturday, Feb. 17.

“It’s Black History Month,” he told TMZ before zipping off in his ride. “That’s what I’m saying, no white girls ’til March 1.”

While Holmes’ friends weren’t amused by Foxx’s joke — a sourced blabbed that her
“friends don’t get why she’s still with him” — the actress had no issue with her man’s comment.

“She knows he was joking,” another insider said. “She loves his sense of humor and doesn’t take a comment like that personally or seriously.”
