Tamar Braxton stopped by “The View” and discussed her relationship and divorce from producer Vincent Herbert. In the video at the 3:17 mark, the “Love and War” singer said she now believes Herbert did not cheat or impregnate another woman. Herbert, who joined her on the show, blamed the rumors on “so-called” friends who don’t want to see you happy. “People are miserable and if they see you happy they don’t want that,” Herbert said.
Braxton admitted she regrets listening to her friends, but she clarified that the divorce wasn’t because of the rumors but because, “we’re together each and every single day, we’re attached at the hip and it just got to be too much.”
Not only have their been rumors of infidelity but, there were also rumors of abuse that wasn’t addressed during the show. Tamar Braxton’s mother Evelyn revealed the abuse to TMZ last year, “I’m tired of [Tamar] being abused and misused.” She also said “I love Vince, but I don’t want him to kill my child.”
While reconciliation is still up in the air, the two of them agreed they are able to still uphold their business relationship and co-parent Tamar said, as Herbert shook his head in agreeance. “We still work together now, we have a couple of businesses that are very successful, we do work together well.” She continued “As well as our connection and responsibly as being parents to Logan.”
