Invested interests in comics and living with your parents usually are frowned upon as activities grown people partake in, at least according to mainstream media. In that vein, a fan wanted to know how “Black Panther” actor Michael B. Jordan is praised for behavior that’s usually frowned upon. He tweeted “Michael B Jordan Is A 5’9 Adult Man That Loves Anime & Lives With His Parents….Y’all Told Me All Of Those Things Were Unacceptable Though.”

Perhaps unexpectedly, Jordan responded to defend himself and clear up a few things. “First of All I’m 6ft and they live with ME, put some respeck on my name. LOL…aaaand goku & naruto are real ones lol”

Jordan kept it lighthearted after another commenter called out his preference for mainstream anime like Dragon Ball and Naruto. “oh you’re into that kinda of anime…. the mainstream ones,” read the tweet.
Nah that was a softball for the anime uneducated 🤓

The original tweet has garnered well over 30K retweets. Unfortunately, much of the conversation descended into arguments between Black men and women. One in particular about women being called “females.”

Jordan for his part revealed on a recent sit-down on the “Ellen Show” that he and his parents lived together. He said, “I love my parents, but we have a roommate relationship right now, which is interesting.”
