Omarosa’s Attempt to Cozy Up to the Black Community May Be Disingenuous, Congressman Explains

Omarosa Manigault’s post-White House behavior has many scratching their heads. Once a staunch defender of President Donald Trump, Manigault was unceremoniously let go just weeks before her one-year anniversary as the communications director for the Office of Public Liaison. The “Apprentice” alum has since spoken out about the pressure and stress of being the only Black woman in the White House, Trump’s erratic behavior and even Vice President Mike Pence’s staunch Christian beliefs.

But while Manigault is trying to sell her “I did it for my people” angle, not everyone is buying it. Louisiana Representative Cedric Richmond in particular.

Richmond thinks Omarosa only spoke out on the White House to get, “back into stardom and back into the reality show world where it’s a business. No one ever said that Omarosa didn’t have good business skills. I would chalk it up to all being about business.”

The Congressman was asked if he will watch “Big Brother” to hear what the reality star has to say he added with a laugh, “Hell nah. I’m too busy watching the president. That’s a full-time job.”
