Rihanna Helps Raise Billions of Dollars For Global Education

When it comes to giving back to charity, many celebs are generous with their fortunes. Including singer and Grammy award-winning artist Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty.

The Pop-star helped raised an astronomical amount of $2.3 billion dollars for global education for developing countries.

The “Love On The Brain” singer spoke at the Global Partnership for Education Financing Conference in Dakar, Senegal. She thanked everyone who donated and made a pledge for the cause.

“I would like to especially thank everyone who’s pledged and donated today,” Rihanna said at the inaugural. “Give yourselves a round of applause because this is what we’ve wanted all along. We’ve made tremendous progress today, but of course, our work is never done.”
