In a surprising admission, “Love & Hip Hop Miami” star Amara La Negra proclaimed she wouldn’t necessarily dump a guy who was unfaithful to her.
The Afro-Latina singer, who recently scored a record deal after crossing over to the American market, told “The Breakfast Club” on Monday, Jan, 22 that she has no time for a boyfriend at this point but if she had a man, she would be loyal — even in a case that would cause most to say, “good riddance.”
“God forbid I were to be with a man and he were to cheat or be with another woman,” she says. “As long as I don’t know about it…what can I tell you? If I find my man and my man cheats on me, and I’ve invested time in you and I gave you all of this, I don’t think I would just leave you. So I’m going to leave you so some other b—- can have you? [Laughs] Not! You’re going to wash it up and stay right here. You’re going to suffer with me.”
And Amara is not alone in the feeling.
When news of Offset cheating on Cardi B surfaced earlier this month, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper proclaimed she’d let people know how she felt about it in her own time. It turns out that time came sooner rather than later when she posted this now-deleted Instagram memo.
“Well if people are talking about it and keep asking me how I feel about the situation why not let them know? Right or wrong?” she wrote. “No, it’s not right for a n—– to cheat… But what you want me to do? Go f— me another n—-? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This s— happens to everyone. People handle they relationship different soo.”
“One of the things that I always encourage couples to do if they discover infidelity is to not tell everybody,” he told Atlanta Black Star. “Because even though people claim to be your friend and your support system, not everyone means you well.”
