After CBS (and PBS) immediately terminated veteran journalist Charlie Rose, many have been weighing in on who should replace him. Eight women initially accused Rose of making “unwanted sexual advances” on them in a lengthy story by The Washington Post Monday, Nov. 21. Since then, more women have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment.
The following is a list of people who social media users say could take over for Rose’s spot on “CBS This Morning.”
Oprah Winfrey
“CBS This Morning” is said to be “begging” the media mogul to fill Rose’s seat.
“Not full time,” a source told Page Six Tuesday, Nov. 21. “But they are hoping she’ll do one day, two days, one hour, fill in ’til Christmas. Anything.”
If she does get the gig, she’d join her best friend Gayle King on the panel.
