For the past four years or so, a lot of people have been asking if Jaime Foxx and Katie Holmes are a couple, and they might’ve just gotten an answer.
On Wednesday, Sept. 6, TMZ shared some photos of the two celebrities strolling in Malibu, while they enjoyed the surf and seemingly each other. One pic shows both of them holding hands and another captures Foxx grabbing his phone and taking a photo of Holmes, Tom Cruise’s ex-wife.
Even though Foxx and the actress weren’t pawing at each other or making out on the beach, holding hands in public is still a big deal, since they’ve never shown that much PDA.
Moreover, it’s been reported that Foxx and Holmes aren’t super serious about their relationship, despite being together for years. At least, supposedly.
“This is not some intense romance,” said a People magazine source in 2015. “Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single and so, apparently, conclusions will be drawn. … But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment.”

Besides news about Foxx’s love life, it’s been reported that he’s organizing a telethon fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. He also donated $25,000 after Kevin Hart issued a challenge.
“From a fellow Texan, my heart goes out. My prayers go out,” said Foxx on Instagram. “September 12 we have a telethon that we’re doing. We’ll give you more details, so we can raise as much money as we can for everybody down there.”
Another thing Foxx will undoubtedly raise is more questions about his dealings with Holmes, because although the source said they weren’t serious, both of them were seen by the paparazzi wearing gold bands on their fingers, which of course caused a lot of chatter.
Both Foxx and Holmes have adamantly denied that they’re a couple, with the “Django Unchained” star recently calling the rumors ridiculous.
“Fake news,” he told a TMZ reporter in March, after being asked about the possible relationship.
Will Foxx and Holmes ever come clean about their dealings with each other or does the public still have it all wrong? Who knows? Maybe time will eventually tell and maybe it won’t.
