Barack Obama Singing “Look What You Made Me Do” Will Surely Bring a Smile

Though he is no longer president, Barack Obama apparently is as popular as ever.

Over the weekend, a video containing a mash-up of several of his speeches makes it appear he’s singing Taylor Swift’s red-hot latest single, “Look What You Made Me Do.” The Associated Press reported that the song, which debuted Aug. 31, logged more than 8 million streams on Spotify that day, setting a same-day streaming.

The visual was released Aug. 27, the night of the MTV Music Awards, and currently has over 188 million views on Youtube. Swift’s album, “Reputation,” will be released Nov. 10.

This isn’t the first time the media has pointed out some of Obama’s best moments. Last year, Obama had a segment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” where he read harsh tweets about himself in a monotone voice. Another video also surfaced on the internet where it appeared that Obama was singing Drake’s hit single “One Dance,” another record-breaking track. VIBE reported that “One Dance” was the first track on Spotify to reach a billion plays.

There’s no confirmation on whether Obama has heard the song “Look What You Made Me Do.” Nonetheless, the video and song are a joy to watch.
