Friday, Aug. 25, marks the 16th anniversary of Aaliyah’s death, but her impact continues to be felt throughout pop culture. Today, one company is celebrating her iconic looks by premiering a makeup line in her honor.

Mac Cosmetics will debut the high-end line in summer 2018, as announced on the late singer’s official Twitter account Thursday, Aug. 24.

Fans had been trying to get a makeup collection dedicated to Aaliyah’s legacy off the ground since 2015 when fan Jennifer Risinger launched a Change.org petition. The appeal was backed by the singer’s brother, Rashad Haughton, who encouraged the campaign to continue back in April. The line comes full circle as according to the campaign letter, Haughton said his sister was a big fan of Mac’s lipsticks and eyeshadows.
