Marvel’s “Black Panther” film is less than a year away from release and a new cast photo has spurred a new wave of excitement from fans.

Twenty new images from the highly anticipated movie were released by Entertainment Weekly Wednesday, July 12, and for the first time, fans can see the cast, which includes Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett, as their fictional Wakanda characters.

The film, due for release on Feb. 16, 2018, follows Boseman’s T’Challa as he assumes the throne after his father’s death and protects the nation from enemies as Black Panther.

One photo shows Black Panther in all his glory facing off with dissident Erik Killmonger, played by Jordan. Another depicts the hero’s all-woman team of bodyguards, the Dora Milaje, and yet another features Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, a private operative, according to EW.
