The exhibition featured a massive collection of photographs, four volumes with 400 official patents by Black inventors, a statuette of Frederick Douglass and over 200 Black-written books, but the 58 hand-drawn charts were probably most notable. Du Bois and his students at Atlanta University created the charts, which mostly focused on financial life in Georgia. They were able to squeeze a tremendous amount of data into a series of easily understood and visually pleasing designs.
