Watch: Killer Mike Gets Extremely Emotional in Fiery Command to Black People on How to Use Their Economic Power

In a July 7 interview with HOT 107.9‘s Mz Shyneka, rapper, political commentator and activist Killer Mike gives an energized call-to-action for Black people after the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

In the nearly 14-minute video, the rapper says that Black people should stop voting and take their money out of white-owned banks to create real change in Atlanta and the nation.

At the beginning of the video, Killer Mike believes the Atlanta Police Department can show other departments around the nation how to police Black citizens.

“Fifteen miles outside of Atlanta, Georgia, I’m afraid I will be murdered,” he says in the video. “People living in Atlanta owe the rest of the country our outrage.”

He asks every Black person to take their money out of the banks and go the “Citizen’s Trust” until white banks address Black issues.

“Don’t spend a dollar on a dog that don’t speak up for you!”

Shop in Black neighborhoods, vote the entire school board out, and get angry, the rapper demands.
