In ESPN’s 30 For 30 documentary series “O.J.: Made in America,” former Los Angeles police officer and current Fox News contributor Mark Fuhrman reveals the shocking reason officers beat Rodney King during the controversial 1991 police brutality incident.
“This is what happens when you take away a tool that would have ended this in 10 second seconds — choke hold,” Fuhrman said.
The former officer believes that if officers could put King into the choke hold — the maneuver that was banned in 1980 — King would not have been beaten to a bloody pulp.
