Rapper and activist David Banner was arrested after a heated exchange with a bouncer in Washington D.C. this past Sunday.

The rapper was in the city promoting his latest album, The God Box, and the corresponding lecture tour.

In the footage, the rapper and the bouncer at the Ozio Restaurant & Lounge got into an heated exchange after someone in Banner’s crew was reportedly denied entrance into the establishment.

“I got you n*****, I got you. You a sellout n*****. I got money,” the rapper said according to a TMZ report.

As the 42-year-old entertainer was being detained by officers, viewers allegedly heard him say, “I don’t give a f*** about no police!”

Officers reportedly arrested Banner for inciting a fight.

Since the incident, Banner took to social media to vent his frustrations about the media coverage of the arrest.
