Touching Video Highlights Malia Obama’s ‘Dignified’ Time at White House Leading Up to High School Graduation

On Friday’s edition of CBS This Morning, President Obama shares his fears and happiness with journalist Gayle King about his daughter, Malia, graduating from high school.

In the video, King pointed out that the president has a lot on his plate. He has to deal with a job change, moving into a new home, and his daughter graduating from high school and going off to college. The president stated that “Malia going off and leaving me” is the most stressful of the three.

The profile highlighted the young woman’s eight years in the White House. Malia and Sasha have been two of the most exemplary First Children in history because of their positivity and fashion sense.

The 17-year-old received her diploma from Washington D.C.’s private Sidwell Friends School on Friday morning. She is expected to attend Harvard University after taking a gap year.
