Last Friday, Columbia University Teacher’s College Associate professor, Dr. Christopher Emdin, spoke about the nature of revolution at the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color.
In the video clip above, the professor of mathematics, science and technology talks about what revolution means.
Emdin states that it is revolutionary that the members in the crowd are at a conference improving the lives of the young Black boys in education. Then he praises the members of the crowd telling them that they believe in revolutionary work.
The one minute video wraps up with the academic stating that revolution has different meanings and to him it means dismantling white supremacy.
