In an interview Tuesday with the Associated Press, the mother of Ferguson, Missouri teen gunned down by white officer Darren Wilson speaks about her new book and her beloved son.
Lezley McSpadden says she’ll never forget the day her 18-year-old son Michael Brown was killed. In the interview with the AP, she recalls the aftermath of the shooting, the protests and the national Black Lives Matter movement.
She tells reporters that she wants people to know her son’s character and that he tried to do the right thing always. In fact, McSpadden believes that Brown was the only person to do the right thing.
The book, Tell the Truth & Shame the Devil: The Life, Legacy, and Love of My Son Michael Brown, is currently on sale now.
