In a rare clip of the 1983 “James Brown and Friends” concert, Prince is invited onto the stage by the “I Feel Good” singer. He follows Michael Jackson after the King of Pop ad-libs on one of Brown’s songs. Jackson then does some of his famous dance moves inspired by the Godfather of Soul, who is on stage next to him.
After the two share a hug, Jackson urges Brown to introduce Prince onto the stage. The Purple One makes his entrance. He is seen playing guitar and dancing shirtless next to the microphone stand. The video ends as Prince daringly attempts to hang from a light post as it leans down toward the crowd.
