Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and the current mayor of New York City Bill de Blasio were at New York City’s annual Inner Circle Dinner last night. Politicians came together to enjoy a few stiff drinks and to perform awkward skits. The low point of the night was when Clinton and de Blasio made a reference to “C.P. Time.” De Blasio said: “Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. time,” de Blasio responded to a mixture of chuckles and gasps. This refers to the idea that Black folks show up late to functions because of a perceived inability to be punctual.
