Over the course of almost two decades, singer and actress Brandy and actress Countess Vaughn were not as close as their show counterparts were. In fact, the stars of the hit UPN show Moesha had their differences and their apparent dislike for each other came to a head in a 1998 interview with Vibe Magazine.
“I think she’s very funny, very talented,” Brandy said. “I just feel like she wants to be in the position I’m in. People tell her, ‘You’re the reason why the show’s successful.’ And she’s told me that before. And she’s called me a b***h–to my face. She said, ‘I’m the reason why the show is successful, b***h.’ In front of a lot of people… “
Vibe reported that on Saturday that the two actresses have patched things up. Vaughn wrote a sincere letter on her personal Instagram about how the two should forget the past and move on with a renewed friendship.

The two actresses are starring in new and successful projects. Vaughn is currently starring on TV One’s Hollywood Divas, and Brandy is starring in BET’s latest sitcom, Zoe Ever After.
