Five people were shot last night as three gunmen opened fire into a crowd protesting near the Minneapolis Police Department’s 4th Precinct.
The shooting occurred at 10:45 p.m., about a block north of the precinct station, where protesters have held daily demonstrations since the fatal Nov. 15 police shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark.
The protesters were hospitalized late Monday night with non-life threatening injuries. The Minneapolis Police Department announced on their Twitter account that they were searching for three white male suspects.
