This October will mark the 20th anniversary of the famous Million Man March, and Minister Louis Farrakhan has promised the 2015 rally to be an event the United States won’t soon forget.
Thousands of #BlackLivesMatter activists, protesters and civilians have shown their support for the Justice… or Else! march that will begin Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Certainly a march of this caliber requires money. As time draws closer, advocates for the Minster have been speaking around the country to raise the $1.8 million Minister Farrakhan has asked for in order to fund the protest.
While donations are pouring in from working class and middle class Black Americans, a sizable deposit has been added to the movement. Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, granted the Justice… or Else! march $150,000. The Minister announced the Smith’s generosity during a mobilization rally at Philadelphia’s Tindley Temple United Methodist Church.

The Minister thanked the Smiths for their support and called upon other Black entertainers to join the cause. So far, 11 rappers have met with the Nation of Islam to discuss plans for the march.
This historic tribute is expected to draw hundreds of thousands to rally for justice after many Black men and women have been involved in police brutality incidents across the United States.
