Moon Boots It is hard to make the call of whether or not this was actually a trend in the first place, but after Lil' Wayne wore them, it was immediately decided that this should never see the light of day again. The Skirt or Kilt (on certain individuals) Artists such as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams regularly attempt to challenge ideas of staunch Black male masculinity. However, they proved to us that not everyone looks good in a skirt or kilt. Bedazzled ... Anything For a few years, sweatshirts, hoodies and jeans were covered in rhinestones. This could have been related to the Ed Hardy bedazzled hat trend, or the fact that people were just running out of trends altogether. The Big Hoodie Not only did tall tees have to exist, but this hip-hop trend begged for something to be complemented with -- the big hoodie. Mystikal-Like Hair Extensions Braided hair extensions were not necessarily the most becoming of styles for Mystikal, which is why he is probably bald now. Male hair extensions are becoming more of a trend, as some Black men are exploring hair pieces with "waves," lace-front beards and faux locs like Fetty Wap. G-Unit Tank Top There are several reasons why this trend was so wrong. The first reason is because it was overpriced, but the second reason was because it had an odd look.
