  1. Jay Contreras says:

He hit the nail on the head: this country DOES NOT want an autonomous, independent black community. They would rather spend resources on crippling the black community, having us totally dependent on THEM so that they can feel like they can control us. It's like an abusive spouse or partner who fears you realizing your full potential b/c he/she is insecure and knows instinctively that HE/SHE cannot compete with you at your best. A healthy govt would want all of it's citizens to reach their full potential. Look around you–does this resemble ANYTHING remotely close to a healthy govt?

  2. One God! This means we are on one accord! The Great Separation! No more dining with the Devil. No more building highways thru our neighborhood. Self Determination has a very nice ring to it.

  3. Every black person young and old knows what needs to be done but when it comes time for the young blacks to act… comments is currency and lip service product. When it comes time for the old blacks to act we find that we have…. plenty Indian chiefs but no Indians. Courage and strategy is what we are missing.

  4. Raw Power says:

It's not up to the country, it's up to us, the black community itself, to take the necessary first steps. Even though there are many pro-active members of our community, without the majority of the black population becoming involved in this type of movement, the impact won't be as great as it could be. For the sake of all black people I would love to see us branch out and become more self-reliant, but on the other hand, from a more realistic viewpoint the reality is, a lot of us are mentally unwilling or financially unable, to break away from "the norm".

  5. Farntella Graham says:

he kept it real and I appreciate that. it started in the church before and it must re-start in the churches now.

  6. Farntella Graham says:

we have precedent on what to do. we only need to bring that struggle up to the times we are living in today and yes, we should separate from them.

  7. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAY'IN ALL ALONG. BLACK AMERICANS NEED TO GET BUSY AND PUT OUR MONEY TOGETHER AND RESOURCES AND DEVELOP OUR OWN. WE COMPLAIN ABOUT SONY, ACADEMY AWARDS, ETC. WHEN WE SHOULD BE DEVELOPING OUR OWN WHERE IT WOULDN'T MATTER WHAT THOSE INDUSTRIES DO. DURING THE OBAMA ERA I LEANED THAT BLACK AMERICANS NEED TO CHANGE THERE MINDSETS TOO IN ORDER TO MOVE FORWARD BECAUSE THIS ERA WAS A TEST TO WHAT IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO US AS BLACK AMERICANS AND THAT INCLUDES RESPECT.

  8. Tat Lee says:

I would agree with this; however, the Black Church of today is far from the Black Church of old. We will have to clean them out first, and what I mean by THEM, I mean the crooked Church officials and the celebrity wannabe Pastors who have become rich off the giving of zealous congregations. Marcus Garvey tried, Elijah Muhammad tried, Dr Claude Anderson is trying along others to impress upon the minds of Black people the importance of “Spider Web Economics”. Personally, I think it will just have to take a few hundred thousand Black people to seriously start and the rest will follow.

  9. Sorry Farntella Graham, but the church has crippled the Black community, their main concern is the collection plate and private jets and cars. Forget the church. This will have to be a grassroots movement.

  10. Africans in America are oppressed subjects of a white power structure in America. The only Africans in business, entertainment, sports, politics, etc. who are successful got that way in the support, promotion, maintenance, and preservation of white supremacy, but by their own will or ingenuity. Any African in America who would attempt to go beyond his legislated prescription of success without complying with the support, promotion, maintenance, and preservation of white supremacy will be legislatively, legally, and socially beaten down or manipulated into the mandates of the exception in he 13th Amendment. The successes that were attained in the past which culminated in prosperous communities like Charleston, Rosewood, and Greenwood were mistakes in the codification of white supremacy that it could not stop because it was legislated into law and certified by the Supreme Court in Jim Crow and later in Plessy: separate but equal doctrine. Africans in America were forced— literally— forced to deal with one another under the law, and was forbidden by law to deal with white people in white communities, like no-go zones. When it was realized it was a mistake by the white power institutions of America, they employed their goons, the masses of white people in America to stop it. In the 60's and 70's during the Black Muslim and Black Panther eras, the social dynamics of those times were so overwhelming, African consciousness and achievements to economically empower the communities could not be contained It was a phenomenon that threw the white power structure into confusion. Yet once it regrouped, legislation and law enforcement stopped it using the long proven mandates of the exception in the 13th Amendment: punishment, crime, convicted. Africans in America has been effectively persecuted, criminalized, and re-enslaved since 1980., so autonomy or "coming together to pool our resources" will not do us any good. Africans in America has to build a legal and political bloc to effectively remove the obstacles that would hinder our progress first because our persecution is coming from political legislation and law enforcement. As long as those obstacles are there, we will be itting on the ground looking at the big wall blocking our progress.

  11. Liz Hayes says:

Yes, I totally agree Jay – Your comment was well said and well written. It is time for us to wake up! We must be persistent in our efforts no matter what!

  12. Marie Firmin says:

The government governs, the non profits fund there employees, the foundations tie us up and against each other. Leveraged home ownership free and clear is the solution. The only way to achieve capital access, capital gains and profits to acquire homes , finance business, pay off tuitions and move in any direction we please. Fred Andrews, Friendsforlife International inc. has the solution. Sweat equity not labor, income not wages, earned credit not debt credit, capital not cash flow! 13. Dean Rader says:

……. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS 😮
The number of black-owned businesses grew much faster than the national rate during the 5 years before the recession began.
This Story and 1000's more, just like it :
    ===============================================.
The ranks of black firms shot up more than 60 percent from 2002 to 2007, compared with the overall national increase of 4 percent.
By the end of the boom,
Prince George's County had the highest share of black-owned businesses – 55 percent – among all large counties in the nation..

  15. How has this information impacted or improve your life or mine, or anyone else's in the last week or the last minute or so? What has these businesses done to protect the lives of young African males/females in your community, mine, or any other? Are your economics any better than it was before getting this information? Are you or your family member or friends employed by any of these businesses? I not, what's the point?

  16. WHAT! YOU ARE IN DENIAL. I BET YOU SAY RACISM DOESN'T EXIST AND THINGS ARE GETTING BETTER WHEN POLICE ARE SHOOTING OUR CHILDREN AND NOT DOING TIME FOR IT LIKE BLACKS GET WHEN THEY SHOOT EACH OTHER. ON "NEWS NOW" TODAY WE ARE DISCUSSING A SHOOTING OF A LITTLE GIRL BY A POLICE AND THAT POLICE GOT OFF CLEAN. OH, RACISM DOES NOT EXIST. I'M NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH YOU AND I REFUSE TO LISTEN TO YOU SO IF YOU MIND I AM GOING TO PUT MY EARPHONES ON NOW AND LISTEN TO SOME "PAUL MONEY", COMEDY OF REALITY. NOT LISTENING TO YOU.

  17. All one has to do – is cast out and denounce those who are evil and wicked – and cling to those who are OF GOD and GOOD. Color doesn't matter.

The biggest down fall of any race – is to accept someone because they have your same skin color – even if they mean you no earthly good – while rejecting those who don't have your skin color – when they mean you earthly good.

I've proven it too many times…….. THUS I have PEACE. Nothing broken and nothing missing.
I don't allow the enemy in my CAMP, CIRCLE, HOME or LIFE. No matter what color their skin is. It ain't happen'n here.

  18. Enqi Ptah says:

When we build our new autonomous black wall street all over again , what's going to stop them from dropping bombs on us again. If your child goes to school and a bully takes his lunch money. is the answer to bring more money to school tomorrow. No.. he has to fight that bully , win or lose.
We cant truly live unless we have a reason to die. The worst thing about death is to die for no reason. Like getting shot by cops or each other.

  19. Exactly, exactly. They know what we can do as a community just look at the history of this planet and what we accomplished over the whites in Europe. They know and they don't want us to be that way. Blacks lived in China well before the Chinese of today. Blacks where essentially all over the planet tens of thousands of years ago. In fact whites where a recent addition via the mutation of the gene that caused lack of melanin. You go back in time black people where the only people (still not sure about t he Neanderthal).

  20. You got that right–it was a miscalculation that they definitely remedied with the fake bait & switch of 'integration'…the only thing that has integrated in this country TRULY has been our best & brightest minds into their corporations/organization & OUR $ into their pockets. And when I say autonomy–I mean complete separation. We cannot remain in the belly of the beast and think that they will not employ any means available to destroy any group endeavor for independence. Past is prologue. Wouldn't you if you were a parasite in need of a weakened host to survive? Balkanization has never worked effectively anywhere and it won't work here. We need to leave. Point blank. Yes, global apartheid exists all over the planet but there can be psychological healing in being in predominantly black environments. It happened here before but I believe whites who are manning this titanic of a country would prefer to steer it into the iceberg & kill everybody than have us as equal partners on this ship.

  22. I agree. We learned all we needed to know on the playground. We are dealing with a global bully and what deters a bully? A good ol' public humiliating ass whuppin'. Of course, this bully will be plotting and planning to get his revenge. Just his nature. We know this from his historical behavior. So unless we are both willing to DIE AND KILL for freedom, we need to just bide our time. Most people ain't ready & especially if they have been programmed with that trauma based brainwashing called Christianity.
