Black-ish  season 1, episode 11 airs tonight on ABC.

Dre worries that his machismo is being questioned by Rainbow after another man dismisses him in front of her. This leads to Pops helping his son save face and, in the process, opening the door to another chance with Ruby. Elsewhere, the school play takes a turn for the awkward when Jr. and Zoey are cast as the romantic leads in Romeo and Juliet.

Andre “Dre” Johnson (Anthony Anderson) has a great job; a beautiful wife, Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross); four kids and a colonial home in the ‘burbs. But has success brought too much assimilation for this Black family? With a little help from his dad (Laurence Fishburne), Dre sets out to establish a sense of cultural identity for his family that honors their past while embracing the future.

Black-ish season 1, episode 11 airs Jan. 7 at 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
