Black men take charge. Black men tell it like it is. Black men are powerful. But when momma calls, that Black man will always be her little boy. The type of love and respect that most Black men have for their mothers is not only charming and sweet but it tells a lifelong story – a story of a young boy who grew up in the care of a woman he loved, cherished and vowed to protect. That lets women know that you understand why a woman deserves to be treated like a queen.
Why Not Share a Future with Someone Who Shares Your Past
There are those who may sympathize with Black women about their past, but the ones who will truly understand are the ones who are coming from that same history. Blacks have a unique history and a powerful culture that has evolved from it. Black people have grown to be resilient and strong, intelligent and wise, compassionate and understanding – and it’s because of the brutal realities that their ancestors were forced to face. On that same token, a history rooted in slavery and impacted by racism has had a countless number of negative effects on Black communities and Black people across the globe. When it comes to raising a Black child, pursuing certain careers and even trying to purchase a home – Black people have to abide by a different set of rules and push even harder than their white counterparts. Having a partner who truly understands this and will walk along that same rocky path is just one more thing that can help make the journey a little easier.
